Seu Raulino e a 'música diabólica'

Como para muitas famílias de classe média-baixa, na minha casa a laje foi uma alternativa de relativo sucesso para reorganizar as tensões habitacionais. Aqui tínhamos 3 quartos, 1 para os homens (eu e meu irmão mais novo), 1 para as mulheres (minha irmã e minha prima) e o de meus pais.

Parece uma organização adequada, porém eu e meu irmão (na idade em que estávamos) deveríamos ser separados por quilômetros para uma convivência harmoniosa, além da minha irmã ter entrado na faculdade e estaria requerendo seu espaço.

Nisso entra a laje e o puxadinho. Numa revolução da engenharia civil e do empréstimo consignado, minha mãe faz nos fundos na nossa casa 1 quarto para mim (a cobertura, rs), 1 quarto para meu irmão e uma área de serviço.

Que maravilha! A liberdade de ter 16m² só para mim e para meus CDs do System of a Down e do Slipknot. É preciso dizer que nessa época, meu gosto musical era definido pela minha mãe como 'música diabólica'.

Quem concordava com isso era 'seu Raulino', vizinho dos fundos que de uma hora para outra passou a ter a companhia sonora de algo que ele não fazia idéia que poderia existir.

Eu, que era (?) inconsequente nem liguei quando minha irmã disse que ele tinha ido lá em casa reclamar. No outro dia cheguei e ele estava no portão falando com ela. Quando saiu, ela foi reclamar novamente comigo, e eu respondi:

- Raquel, eu quero que seu Raulino morra.

Uns 2 dias depois, cheguei em  casa e lá veio Raquel falar comigo. Que chata!

- Que foi, o velho já veio encher o saco?
- Não, veio não. Foi.
- Foi?
- Foi. Seu Raulino morreu.

Será? Será que eu tenho todo esse poder?

Isso foi piada de humor negro aqui em casa por muito tempo, mas é a pura verdade e eu (raramente) sinto um certo remorso.

Quem gosta de música deve concordar comigo que o System of a Down solidificou a sua posição de não ser apenas uma banda de "New Metal". Não só por que não entrou em decadência como o Limp Bizkit (que até confessou com o "Results may vary") ou por que não apelou como o Linkin Park (que pez parceria com Rapper pra vender CD).
O SOAD provou com o seu último álbum "Mesmerize" que é uma das melhores bandas de rock da atualidade.
